Kathmandu, Dec7 : The vote count has begun in some districts out of the 32 where voting was held in the first phase on November 26.
The Office of the Chief Election Officers in Mustang, Manang, Baitadi and Bajura said that the vote counts began from 5:00 pm this evening, soon after the second phase of polling ended today.
Chief of District Election Office, Mustang, Sitaram Sharma Lamichhane said that a total of 6,714 votes were cast in Mustang out of 9,427 voters. Likewise, 4,338 voters voted in Manang while 76,343 voters had exercised their franchise in Baitadi.
Similarly, 52,945 votes were cast in Bajura district that witnessed 80 per cent turnout.
