Janakpurdham, Nov 8 (RSS): Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said Janakpurdham is an inspiring place for all.
Protection and respect to all religions is imperative, he said, during a programme organized here Wednesday. The programme was a mahayagya, a grand religious recital devoted to lord Shiva.
The mahayagya was organized with the aim of promoting peace, welfare and religious tourism.
More than 8,000 Hindu devotees from Nepal and India thronged the programme where more than 10 million phallic symbols were created on the same day.
In order to make the record of highest number of Shiva’s phallus, 108 ponds were created in a large area. The programme was organized by the Manas and Bolbam Family.
