Kathmandu, Dec 25 : President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed best wishes to all Christian people living in the country and abroad on the occasion of the X-Mass today.
Giving a message of best wishes, President Bhandari wished peace, prosperity and happiness to the Christian community.
“Nepal is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and multi-religious country,” she said, adding that this festival would foster national university, religious tolerance in the diversity.
According to her, all should focus the preservation of festivals, religion and culture. Also, the President expressed her belief that the recent successful election to the House of Representatives and provincial parliament would help in implementation of constitution and ensure political stability.
She wished this festival inspired all Nepalis to augment fraternity, love and unity.
